WHAT ARE POLYNUCLEOTIDES?
Polynucleotides are bio-stimulators derived from salmon DNA fragments, a natural source that mimics human DNA. WHEN CAN RESULTS BE SEEN?
This treatment works by stimulating the bodies natural processes, therefore results cannot be seen straight away. Treatments typically take approximately 3 weeks to start to see improvements to the skin, with full effects becoming more apparent over several months. The skin will gradually improve in texture, firmness and hydration.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
Usually three treatments are required, 3-4 weeks apart to achieve optimal results. Once clients have had their inital course of 3 tretments, a maintenance dose is then recommended every 6-9 months.
DOES IT HURT?
At .You Medispa we use optional numbing cream before the treatment to make it more comfortable, however most patients feel they do not require numbing at all.
WHAT IS THE DOWNTIME?
As with any injectable treatment, there is a risk of bruising and minor swelling. After your polynucleotide treatment you will be left with small blebs on the skin, these can be present for 24-48 hours after treatment.
